You think of living by the Mediterranean, what do you think of? Cooling sea breeze? Terrace to watch the sun rise and set? Maybe popping down to the local market to pick up some fresh fruit?. . Then look no further. Nice modern furnished apartment, looking down on the site of the soon to be reopened Mercat de la Grau (Port Market – sounds much sexier in Valencian), and only a few minutes walk from the beach. It’s near the metro, but there’s a garage space included too.. . In fact if you look at the photos below, the first is a drawing of the market, and that building in the background is this one. This very terrace in fact. I’ve also included an old photo of the market, but it might look a bit different by the time they’ve finished with the modernisation, but will still low-rise of course, so the sense of space you have from the terrace will always be there. . . You can’t see it very well from the photos of the main bedroom, because they drew the curtains for some reason – and who doesn’t love tie-dye – but it opens to the terrace, so you’ll have to imagine that space in the morning with the sun rising and streaming in to the bedroom.. . So is this for you? Do you see yourself going to the market every morning? Often enough that the stall holders have their own nickname for you that you can never quite catch but it must be good because they all have a good laugh everytime someone uses it? Waking up in the morning with sunburnt bits because you forgot to close the shutters again last night?. . If you answered ‘Yes’, ‘Sure’, ‘Sorry?’ and ‘Sunburnt where now?’ to those questions then give us a call, and we’ll help you live that Mediterranean dream.
